Artist Statement

"My practice-based research engages paths of inquiry based in expressions of remembrance, identity, language, labor and (in)visibility. This broad but interrelated constellation of concerns forms the matrix of my work. * I attempt to make conceptually grounded work with strong visual presence, and within this cohesion, spaces for multiple readings and points of access for critical reflection by the viewer. A variety of formats and materials are employed that range from the impermanent to the enduring and in various combinations of sculpture, textiles, video, light projection, artist books, and immersive installations."
